JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title Systems Engineer: Work Location Address Pune, Bangalore, Chennai ( India ) Responsibilities System Architecture & Design Understand, Define and develop system-level architecture for Powertrain -ICE/EV/HEV components Creating and maintaining system specifications and interface requirements. Lead architecture/design reviews to resolve issues and ensure adherence to established guidelines and standards. Contribute to system architecture/boundary diagrams and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for powertrain components Requirements Management Elicit, decompose, and manage requirements (functional, performance, safety, EMC, environmental) with full traceability from stakeholder needs to test cases. Capture, analyze, and manage customer and regulatory requirements and creating functional requirements Translate requirements into technical specifications and ensure traceability. Responsible for the delivery of Functional Requirement including all necessary e-powertrain content Compliance Ensure compliance with automotive standards (ISO 26262, functional safety, EMC regulations, Homologation, Diagnostics). Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with hardware, software, and vehicle integration teams. Leading the creation of detailed documentation for all functions and interfaces within an end-to-end vehicle architecture. Requirements Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics engineering, Electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of experience in automotive systems engineering or powertrain development (ICE/EV/HEV). Knowledge of functional safety and vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN). Familiar with JIRA
