Mandatory skills ~Experience & Knowlegde of Transmission ECUs and other sub systems ECU ~Hands on experience in SW design on automotive ECU, transmission ECU preferred -ASW, MBD, Matlab simulink based development expertise -Exposure to Test/validation of application software, MIL /SIL, VnV, System engineering. -C, Python, SW development Working Experience development experience MATLAB, Simulink, -Transmission experience -------------------------------------- JOB Description This position is to perform requirement engineering and systems simulation activities, such as requirement elicitation, function analysis, Systems simulation, Behavior analysis and requirement documentation for all power train system (Conventional). As a powertrain systems engineer, the selected candidate will be responsible for • Performing powertrain function analysis and function decomposition • Requirement elicitation activities from system to SW and traceability over V-cycle. • Propulsion system high level functional requirement artifact creation in requirement management tools like Doors and Polarian etc. • Propulsion System Operating Modes Identification, Analysis and Documentation in requirement management tool • Participate in the Agile Methodology to plan product backlog and identify potential risks. • Develop simulation/virtual models for specific propulsion features/functions using MATLAB, Position Requirements: Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Electronics Engineering other related Engineering degree. • Minimum 10 years’ experience in conventional and hybrid powertrain development • Good understanding on overall vehicle dynamics and vehicle system functioning • Good understanding automotive powertrain architecture • Proficient in requirement management tools such as DOORS and Polarian etc. Preferred Qualifications: • Vehicle Validation or Powertrain Calibration experience. • Familiarity with Agile project management • Experience with overall vehicle development cycle and Change management process. • Good communication skills, able to lead meeting with cross functional team Management reporting and support work
