The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Go, microservices architecture, networking concepts, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate should have experience developing production-grade Go applications with a strong focus on performance, concurrency, reliability, and maintainability. Job Description & Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance backend services using Golang. • Build scalable and independently deployable services using microservices architecture. • Apply strong knowledge of Go concepts, including goroutines, channels, interfaces, contexts, error handling, and synchronization. • Develop clean, modular, reusable, and idiomatic Go code following established coding standards. • Build and integrate RESTful and gRPC APIs for internal and external service communication. • Use Go profiling and debugging tools to identify memory, CPU, concurrency, and performance issues. • Write unit tests, integration tests, benchmarks, and mocks to maintain application quality. • Apply networking concepts such as TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, sockets, load balancing, and network protocols. • Troubleshoot network connectivity, service communication, latency, timeout, and performance issues. • Design cloud-native applications that support scalability, resilience, fault tolerance, and high availability. • Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. • Implement service discovery, configuration management, logging, monitoring, and health checks. • Develop reliable error-handling, retry, timeout, and graceful-shutdown mechanisms. • Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, and development planning. • Identify technical risks and recommend improvements to application design and performance. • Collaborate with DevOps, QA, product, and other engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle. • Support application deployment, production monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis. Required Experience • Strong hands-on development experience with Golang in production environments. • Solid understanding of Go concurrency, memory management, package design, and testing practices. • Experience designing and developing microservices and distributed backend systems. • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and service-to-service communication. • Experience building cloud-native applications using containers and orchestration platforms. • Understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices. • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices. • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
